Porter, TX (July 5, 2006) – High-performance lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple has developed a new racing-specific automatic transmission fluid. Royal Purple’s Racing ATF was developed specifically for racing automatic transmissions using Ford Type F fluids.
Royal Purple’s Racing ATF incorporates Royal Purple’s trademark high film strength additive technology `Synerlec` in order to create a fluid with 300% improved wear protection versus traditional Type F fluids. It also excels at high temperature oxidation resistance, resists foaming, and provides unparalleled corrosion and rust protection.
Field testing in GM, Ford, and Chrysler drag racing transmissions has shown Royal Purple Racing ATF to be very consistent in pass-to-pass performance and resulted in the doubling or tripling of transmission component and fluid life. Royal Purple Racing ATF is not recommended for stock automatic transmissions or for street use where a friction modified ATF fluid such as a GM Dexron III or Ford Mercon fluid is recommended.
