American Car Manufacturer Saleen Takes Title Sponsorship for The Great American Run
The event run and owned by the infamous Tim Porter of Cannonball world events sees 400 cars driving from the east coast of the USA to the west coast in a 6 day 7 night party on wheels the object of the event is to try and get closest to an average of 61mph over the 3000 mile course porter said that's the easy part the hard part is having to party all night in the overnight check point stops .
With 100 cars starting in new york , 100 in Washington DC, 100 in Atlanta and 100 in Miami this is one of the worlds biggest car events. Porter has upped the ante by giving away one of these superb 200 mph cars .
The deal worth a reported 3.8 million dollars is good news for Europeans who want America's fastest road production Mustang or the awesome S7 worlds fastest production car as Porter will be bringing this fantastic car home to his London based head office and Europeans will be able to order the car through Cannonball world event head office 0044-1403 -276191 from march 2007
Porter said this Saleen 281 extreme is the modern day Eleanor only it is quicker and has the ability to go round corners and stop.
Porter, a hardcore driver, has been seen but never stopped driving his 208 mph Vanishing point 700BHP toyota supra all over Europe for the last 5 years and is no stranger to 200mph club said the ultimate bad boy. Saleen is awesome, it keeps you on the edge of your seat! For the german autobann the car will see 200mph and puts a smile wider than the mersey tunnel on your face. Entry to the Great American run is $10,000 dollars this includes hotels food partys and the famous willow springs race track out in California so all in all the event is good value for money compared with other major events.
And with the weak dollar what better time to own one of these great cars and drive it on the worlds largest car rally . The Great American Run is due to take place July 29th 2007.
