FlexPod Awarded Best New Product at SEMA Show 2006
(SEMA Show, Las Vegas, NV) - Craven Speed’s innovative FlexPod was awarded first runner-up for the best new interior accessory at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the premier automotive aftermarket and specialty products trade event in the world. The show is considered by many to be “the industry barometer for consumer tastes,” according to the SEMA Show website (www.semashow.com).
This year the SEMA Show is showcasing more than 2000 exhibitors, and is expecting over 100,000 trade professionals to attend the four-day event. Over 1,400 new products are featured in this year’s SEMA Show New Products Showcase, with awards going to the other top 32 new items, in addition to Craven Speed’s Flexpod.
The Flexpod is a modular system designed to hold several popular sizes of gauges, as well as accessories such as mp3 players, PDAs, and cell phones. The Flexpod fixture easily attaches to the top of the steering column using the existing factory-drilled holes, and components are attached to the fixture in any desired combination.
