Two Road Racing Weekends Back-to-Back for the Subaru Road Racing Team

Seasoned Team Drivers Take Their Successful Subaru Effort in the Koni Challenge Series to Laguna Sec
Phoenixville, PA, May 15, 2007 – Subaru Road Racing Team (SRRT) drivers Dave Rosenblum, Chuck Hemmingson, Kristian Skavnes, and Davy Jones anticipate continued strong performances from their Subaru race cars in the next two Grand-Am Koni Challenge races on their schedules after the team’s impressive season debut in mid-April. Theteam’s next two races are the U.S. Sports Car Invitational at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California, on May 17-20 and the Grand-Am GT Classic at Lime Rock Park the following weekend in Lakeville, Connecticut.
      
Last month, at Homestead-Miami Speedway, SRRT began its season of selected Koni Challenge races. During this second round in the series, the team earned pole position and two top-10 finishes. SRRT confidently seeks continued success in rounds four and five of this competitive series.
      
SRRT campaigns two fully prepared Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT spec.B sedan racecars in the Koni Challenge Street Tuner (ST) class. This class features close, spirited competition with mandatory driver changes at each event. Team drivers Hemmingson and Skavnes are paired in the #111 Subaru with teammates Rosenblum and Jones behind the #141 Subaru.

Based in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, ICY/Phoenix Racing is a collaborative partnership between Dave Rosenblum (ICY Racing) and Joe Aquilante (Phoenix Performance) which boasts over 70 years of cumulative racing experience.
