Go Fast Bits Announces Release of The Deceptor Pro In-Car Volume Adjustable Blow Off Valve

New In-Cabin Adjustable Blow Off Valve

GFB are pleased to announce the release of our latest product: The Deceptor Pro in-car volume-adjustable blow-off valve!

The Deceptor Pro is based on the patented volume-adjustable Stealth FX; a breakthrough in blow-off valve design.  The new Deceptor Pro goes one step further, featuring an industry world first: electronic proportional in-car adjustment of blow-off valve volume.

Back in 1998 GFB released the innovative Hybrid, a blow-off valve which had both plumb back and vent-to-atmosphere outlets. This design gave users the option of a more subdued BOV ‘whoosh’ sound, and worked where other BOVs didn’t; on airflow metered vehicles that were sensitive to the ‘vent-to-atmosphere only’  blow-off valves of the past.

The Stealth FX, released in 2002, built on this technology by allowing the user to easily adjust the proportion of blow-off air flowing through the plumb back and trumpet outlets for full control of blow-off volume.  The Deceptor Pro is similar in design, but the action of manually turning the head of the valve is automated using a high-torque electric servo-motor, so volume adjustments can be made remotely from inside the cabin.

“After the success of the original Stealth FX, it was only a matter of time before we took the design to its logical conclusion” said GFB’s Brett Turner.  “Many people have asked for an in-car adjustable blow-off valve, and now it is a reality”.

The 2005 SEMA show marked the official launch of the Deceptor Pro, where it was presented with three awards in the category of “Best New Performance-Street Product”, as nominated by motoring journalists from across the globe.

The Deceptor Pro is priced within reach of buyers of the hugely popular Stealth FX, and is sure to become a ‘must have’ for owners of modified high-performance street cars.  With the increasingly tough laws and their strict enforcement, the Deceptor Pro is sure to find a home under the bonnet of many a tough street car!
