The Subaru Technica International Corporation announced that it will sell an improved "Security Wheel Nut Set" nationwide (Japan).
An increased level of security was desired so in response, Subaru has relased this latest version of their security locks. These security devices use a small-sized flower type key which is more advanced than the previous design.

The steel used to make these security locks undergoes a triple nickeling treatment to harden the lugs in order to prevent rust and corrosion. They come in a gunmetal finish which was chosen to match a wide variety of wheel color tones. The STi is lasered onto each lugnut  to add an extra touch of class to this set. A provided STi stamped lug key is also included with the kit, but in case one should lose it, service is available to replace lost lug keys.
