Digital Tuning, Inc. Releases PocketLOGGER ZT Datalogging Software
Digital Tuning, Inc., an industry leader in Palm OS based datalogging systems, is proud to announce the release of PocketLOGGER ZT Datalogging software. Digital Tuning and Zeitronix have teamed up to provide an economical way for professional engine tuners and car enthusiasts alike to monitor and datalog engine vitals, including Air/Fuel ratio. According to Mike Montalvo, CEO of Digital Tuning, Inc., aftermarket wideband Air/Fuel sensors and loggers are becoming more and more affordable to car enthusiasts.
For anyone serious about fuel tuning in their modified car, having a Wideband Air/Fuel Meter is essential.PocketLOGGER ZT, along with the Zeitronix Zt-2, provides an easy way to view and datalog the vital information from the engine for later analysis, without the need to lug a laptop around. Also, with many racetracks having banned laptops in the car, a PDA solution is ideal. With PocketLOGGER ZT, the PDA can be s tored in a glove compartment for safety, or mounted to the dashboard as an accessory gauge cluster while monitoring engine conditions.
Built around the proven PocketLOGGER platform, PocketLOGGER ZT allows users to view and record information from the Zeitronix Zt-2, including Lambda, Air/Fuel Ratio, throttle position, RPM, exhaust gas temperature, manifold pressure, as well as any 0-5volt external sensor. Once logged, the data can be retrieved and viewed on the PDA or PC at any time. The user can even set threshold alarms to warn of unsafe conditions. Additional triggers can be set that will start logging when certain conditions, such as throttle position or boost level, are met. If you're modifying your engine in any way, keeping tabs on this type of data is essential to your engine's health. Without it, the chance of blowing up your motor increases significantly.
