Las Vegas, Nevada - July 25, 2006 --Rockstar Energy Drink enters the world’s most exciting motorsport with their sponsorship of champion U.S. rally driver, Tanner Foust, at the historic debut of rally as the first four-wheeled motorsport at the 2006 Summer X Games.

This unprecedented event will be the focus of the 2006 Summer X Games, the world’s most watched action sports competition.  The X Games features top athletes competing in numerous extreme sport disciplines including skateboarding, BMX, Supermoto and Freestyle Motocross.


Tanner Foust is the 2005 Rally America PGT National Champion, a leading drift racer in the U.S. Formula D series, and a top stunt driver with recent roles in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift and The Dukes of Hazzard.

Foust and his co-driver, Scott Crouch, are title sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink. Foust will be competing in the invite-only special format rally at the 2006 Summer X Games from August 2-5. Wednesday, August 2, the drivers will compete on rally stages in the mountains outside of Los Angeles. Saturday, August 5, they will compete on a “Super Special” stage at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., in front of a live crowd. The competition, including the previously filmed mountain stage, will be aired nationally on ABC Sports on Saturday August 5.  Between stages, teams will be practicing and conducting VIP media rides at The Home Depot Center on August 3-4.
