NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 18, 2006) – Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) has announced that Bridgestone® brand Turanza™ EL40002™ tires will be original equipment on the new 2007 Toyota Prius Touring Edition. BFNT will supply the Prius Touring Edition with Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 tires in size P195/55R16 86V. The Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 is a V-speed rated, all-season, luxury, touring original equipment tire.
“The Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 is a low-rolling resistance tire which enhances the hybrid’s capabilities while providing performance and touring tire comfort,” said Michael Martini, president, original equipment consumer tire division, BFNT.

The 2007 Touring Edition of the Toyota Prius is hitting dealerships this month.
