Bridgestone Firestone's "Need New Tires" Promotion Offers a Sure-Footed Back to School Experience.
Nashville, Tenn. (August 21, 2006) - It's back to school time and parents are busy buying school supplies, books and clothing for their students. But what about purchasing "new shoes" for their vehicle? New tires provide better grip, improved performance and handling and offer improved fuel economy -- which is a boost to the pocketbook. That's why Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire is reinstating its popular "Need New Tires" $100 Rebate promotion Sept. 7 – Oct. 7.
"Everyone is working to put a best foot forward as the new school year begins," said Phil Pacsi, vice president, Consumer Tire Marketing, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT). "Offering a rebate on something as important as new tires, which are key to safety, makes sense for this year's back to school season. We are also mindful that good tires offer improved grip and handling, and with inclement weather right around the corner, anyone who 'needs new tires' should take advantage of this opportunity."

The "Need New Tires" campaign is BFNT's fall rebate initiative during which a purchase of any four select Bridgestone brand Dueler tires will earn the customers a rebate on Bridgestone-brand tires included in this promotion are the Dueler H/P Sport, the Dueler H/P ($100 rebate), Dueler H/L Alenza, Dueler A/T Revo ($75 rebate), Dueler A/T ($50 rebate), and Dueler H/T ($25 rebate).
The campaign is also further supported by the company's longstanding Buy & Try 30-Day Guarantee. "If after 30 days or less a consumer is not satisfied with the performance of the tires, the customer will receive a full refund,” Pacsi added. "The Buy & Try 30-Day Guarantee underscores the fact that BFNT feels so strongly about customer satisfaction that it backs that commitment with this industry-leading guarantee.”
* The Buy & Try 30-Day Guarantee does not apply to tires supplied as original equipment on new vehicles or a select number of performance or Run-Flat specialty tires.
