Connection desired: The Delphi Grundig X330 SD

The second member of the new Delphi Grundig X family ties in seamlessly with the visual and technical qualities of the X350 BT. The RDS/EON tuner with a shock resistant CD/MP3-capable drive and an output power of 4 _ 45 watts not only guarantees a first-class sound, but also enables the appropriate settings for all musical tastes thanks to its parametric 3-band equalizer. Expandability: This is where the Delphi Grundig X330 SD really comes into its own. A portable MP3 player, for example an iPod, can be connected via the USB port and conveniently operated via the display buttons of the X330 SD. A further feature for expanding the storage capacity of the new Delphi Grundig all-rounder is an additional card slot for SD cards (Secure Digital Card) located beneath the flip-down display.

Four line-out connections and a separate subwoofer output make sound freaks' hearts beat faster, because as well as enabling the connection of additional speakers at the front and rear of the vehicle, an additional subwoofer can be connected to the X330 SD for a really booming bass sound.

Depending on your mood or the time of day, the clearly laid out display can be adjusted to three different brightness levels. As with the X350 BT, the X330 SD can also be connected to the steering wheel controls.

Getting started: the entry-level X250 MP3 model

Even those with a small budget can enjoy the qualities of the new Delphi Grundig X family. As the entry-level model, the X250 MP3 offers all the benefits of a conventional RDS/EON tuner, including an integrated CD/MP3 drive with anti-shock memory ensuring smooth playback at all times, even when the ride gets bumpy. Altogether 30 station presets are available to the listener for his or her favourite FM and AM stations. The clear design of the entire Delphi Grundig X family is also reflected in the removable flip-down display of the X250 MP3.

Like its X family siblings, the X250 MP3 boasts 4 _ 45 watts of output power. Thanks to preset sound settings (DSP: Digital Sound Processing), the right sound can be set for every taste and every musical style. Be it classical, pop or rock music: the simple operating principle enables you to quickly get the sound you want.

The sound can also be enhanced by means of external amplifiers via two line-out connections. Expansion by a portable MP3 player, iPod or the Delphi Grundig HDD30 hard drive player also pose no problem with the X250 MP3. The AUX-IN connection lets the junior member of the X family transform into a digital jukebox. Of course, the Delphi Grundig X250 MP3 can also be connected to the steering wheel controls.
