High-Flow Gen III Throttle Bodies From Wilson Manifolds
Discuss This Article

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – GM's Gen III small block has proven itself as one of the most reliable, versatile and powerful engines ever built. Now you can apply Wilson's winning airflow technology to your Corvette, Camaro/Firebird, GTO or Super Sport Pickup. Whether you drive a street car with basic bolt-ons or a full-blown racecar with over 1,000-horsepower, the new Wilson Gen III throttle bodies ensure maximum power and driveability.

Wilson's high-flow throttle bodies were developed from scratch using state-of-the-art modeling software to produce designs that yield maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. All Wilson throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum using precision CNC machines for consistent quality and decreased weight. Features include brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion, and shot-peened throttle shafts specially machined to decrease cross-sectional area for improved airflow.

Applications include a high-flow 78mm throttle body for LS1, LS2 and LS6 engines using a stock intake, and a 90mm throttle body for extreme performance engines using the LSX aftermarket intake. A throttle-by-wire version of the 90mm unit is available for Corvettes using an aftermarket manifold. If you're looking for Gen III speed and glory, run the same name as the pros. Run with Wilson.
