Speech by President Hiroyuki, IKEDA - continued
Through the SI Drive System, Subaru introduces a new dimension of driving experience, which combines sheer driving excitement and environmentally-friendly performance in the same car.

Subaru Driving Experience is something our rally Drivers know and understand very well. The World Rally Championship continues to be a valuable proving ground for the continual refinement of Subaru’s technology. All our production vehicles benefit from the technologies tested and used in our rally cars. Let me show you a video message from Stéphane Sarrazin, a Subaru rally team driver from France.

(Message from Stéphane Sarrazin)
Today I drove the new Legacy. The car chassis was improved in every respect. More balanced around corner, and easier to drive. Small improvements everywhere. The former model was already very good, but the new model is better. Hope you enjoy driving the car.

I encourage you to drive the new Legacy and Outback, and experience the same outstanding performance that Stéphane enjoys. Next is the B9 Tribeca, Subaru’s new flagship vehicle, will be introduced this autumn. We have refined the car for its debut in Europe;

The suspension was modified to suit European roads conditions, its handling stability, riding comfort and safety features have also been enhanced. In addition, both ends of the second-row seat come equipped with a sliding mechanism, making entry easier for third-row passengers. The B9 Tribeca has been developed on the concept of a progressive sports utility vehicle that embodies high levels of driving performance, design, and utility. I am very pleased to announce that the B9 Tribeca will be introduced in the European market in October.

Subaru is not a large-scale production car manufacturer. Our firm commitment is to remain loyal to our philosophy of introducing new ideas to the automotive world with a perfect balance of innovation and refined unique technology.

    Joe Spitz - hurry Joe, the window is closing on our waiting time for a Subaru hybrid or diesel. Will the hybrid or diesel be available in the Forester? Please keep the updates coming Joe!

    The quality of the picture could be better. Subaru's Boxer TD engine is a fine piece of engineering and it should be displayed in a clearer context.

    I am really pleased to read such news. I am a fun of Subaru with one in a garrage (STi), but I still miss diesel for daylly driving long distances.
    I would be please to get some information, when I can buy Forester with turbo diesel in EU. And technical details are needed as well.
