Ninety years after starting car production (with the 1917 Model-A), Mitsubishi has embarked upon its most ambitious automotive project ever through the launch of its first global platform.
Known as “Project Global”, it will be showcased at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit by its highest volume variant: the all-new 4-door Lancer sports sedan.
Mitsubishi has introduced the new high-performance Galant Ralliart model to lead the restyled and enhanced Galant for 2007.
Galant Ralliart is powered by a 258-hp 3.8-liter V-6 engine and equipped with a five-speed Sportronic(R) automatic transmission, sport suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels and exclusive exterior styling and interior features.
Mitsubishi today announced the Lancer Evolution IX MR high-performance 4WD sports sedan and the Lancer Evolution Wagon MR high-performance 4WD sports wagon.
Both models go on sale at affiliated dealerships throughout Japan on August 29, 2006.
Mitsubishi unveiled the Lancer Evolution SE on Monday, describing the new trim level as the final enhancement to the body style that has been on the market since 2003.
